Thursday in Lockerbie

After another settled night we were refreshed and ready to complete our activities!

Breakfast was a delicious choice of cooked foods or cereal!

This morning some groups took part in the high ropes activity which helped a lot of us face fears that we didn't think we would be able to overcome! Other groups did archery and camp crafts as well as survival skills where we all learned a lot about surviving in the wild! We even got to see how you would light a fire in order to get heat in the wild!

Lunch was a delicious choice of hamburger, chicken kebab or bubble and squeak! This filled us up until dinner!

More activities followed and were great fun!

Following this we completed our daily diaries and had yet more food! We could choose from cottage pie, chicken Kiev and penne arrabiata- we have been VERY well looked after!

Our evening activities were lots of fun with 2 groups completing the blind trail where one partner was blind folded and the other had to lead them around an assault course! This was VERY muddy!

The other 2 groups carried out initiative exercises and enjoyed them too!

Our nightly hot chocolate and entertainment session followed this!

We are now all tucking up in bed and looking forward to a morning of activities before returning to sunny(or at least dry?!) Renfrew!

We have missed our parents lots and can't wait to....

Hand over all of our lovely, mucky clothes ! Oh and of course see our families and friends!

Until tomorrow, over and out!

Wednesday in Lockerbie!

We also enjoyed crate stacking and fencing!
Rock climbing was great fun!

We have had another fabulous day here in Lockerbie! Some of us started it with another early morning run in the cold, crisp, country air! The weather was dry today- thankfully but slightly cold!

We started the day with our first activity- some of us were climbing, others were doin archery!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious again! Our after dinner treat was a scrumptious muffin!

We had a disco tonight which we all loved and were able to show off our fantastic dance moves!

We are now all off to bed, tired but excited about what tomorrow will bring! Fingers crossed for another dry day!

We hope you enjoy the photographs and will add to this again tomorrow!

Over and out

Tuesday in Lockerbie

After a good sleep we were all excited and raring to go again this morning! Some of us even made it out for an early morning run before breakfast!

The food for breakfast was delicious and we were able to choose from a cooked breakfast, cereal or both of those choices!

After breakfast we took part in out first activity- every group went to a different station! Some of us were doing climbing and the blind trail, both of which were great fun! The weather was very wet all mornin but we still had lots of fun and manged to complete the challenges set for us!

Orienteering, low ropes and rifle shooting were among the activities completed before lunch!

It was then time to have lunch which was a tasty choice of chicken tacos or veggie bites with waffles and a choice of salad as well as lovely fresh fruit!

The rain eased off and we were able to complete our evening activities! One of the highlights being the muddiest of all- the obstacle course! Wow that was a LOT of fun!

Dinner was another success and full of tasty treats!

We have had a fantastic full first day here and celebrated 2 very special 11th birthdays!

Enjoy looking at our photographs, we will be back in tomorrow!

Lockerbie October 2014 Monday

We have arrived safe and well in Lockerbie! Once we were settled in to our rooms it was straight on to our first activity! We all had lots of fun taking part in the games and worked well in our groups! Following our first activity we had a delicious dinner with some tasty treats! This set us up for our second activity of the night. Some of us completed rifle shooting while others were on the low ropes or initiative exercises!
It's now off to bed for a well earned rest! Rise and shine bright and early tomorrow, for an action packed day!

We will update the blog again tomorrow!

Good night!
