Term 3
What an exciting, and busy, term this has been for Primary 7a. Our World War 2 topic was so much fun and we learned lots of new information in our cooperative teams. In literacy we explored tense, emotive language, headings and we have developed our ability to write in our own words. Numeracy was equally fun and we really enjoyed cooking up a storm for our open evening. We worked well together and created a range of 3D objects, including gas masks and Anderson Shelters. Thank you to all those at home for helping with our show box creations and World War 2 outfits. Primary 7a have benefited greatly from all the artefact's that have been kindly loaned to us. These will all be returned before the end of term :)
As well as our topic, we have enjoyed working with PACE this term. Primary 7 have also participated in a Zumba class, competed in a dodgeball tournament and supported our buddies with social dance. We are looking forward to Parents Night this week and the End of Term Reward. Miss McCurdy says that we have worked so hard that we deserve a break!
