END OF TERM 3
TRANSATLANTIC SLAVE TRADE OPEN EVENING
We celebrated the end of our very interesting topic on The Transatlantic Slave Trade by holding an Open Evening for our parents. We had learned so much about the topic and produced a fantastic amount of work related to it. Wecreated some excellent displays to help us learn about slavery and our classroom looked fantastic on the night. To prepare for our Open Evening Room 15 came to visit and learn some facts about slavery in the past. We acted as Tour Guides for our parents and took them around our classroom enjoying a number of activities on our way. The feedback from our parents was brilliant. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event. They were very impressed by the quality of the work and how much the children knew. And they even learned some new facts for themselves too!
Here are some pictures for you to see all our hard work!
