We Love Term 2

After ending last term with a Healthy Open Afternoon which we hosted for our parents, Primary 7a enjoyed a relaxing break before returning to an exciting Term 2.

We have already enjoyed a trip to Scripture Union, were we spent the afternoon learning about Christian stories through drama. Mr Hawthorne also organised a delicious food selection for us to sample. This term we are going to be learning all about the importance of giving as we explore Christmas Symbolism in RME.

Our Scotland topic has provided us with the opportunity to enhance our understanding of Scottish industry and culture. Miss McCurdy was so impressed with our Charles Rennie Mackintosh designs and these are proudly displayed in our classroom.

Miss McCurdy and Mrs O'Brien were absolutely delighted that the fantastic instructors at Kickstart were given prime recognition at the ROCCO awards. The pupils received two trophies to reflect their winning standards in Enterprise in Education. If you want to sample our award winning service, please keep abreast of our available dates on the school website.

We have been developing our entrepreneurial skills even further by planning, designing and creating a Games Room for the Christmas Fayre. All of the money we raised will go towards our Leavers' Dance in June.
